Romans 9.1-33

Today we pick up in chapter 9 which focuses on this whole thing that God has chosen us, not that we deserved it, or that we were somehow deserving, but that he has chosen to rescue us despite having done nothing to deserve it. Not only that, but all of this works and wonders are not based on your worthiness, your performance, or your ability. Instead, all of his kindness, all of his mercy, all of his signs and wonders are done according to his purpose and plans which were planned long before you, even before the foundation of the world, to demonstrate God’s faithfulness, his great power, and to fulfill those purposes which include the invitation of the gospel to all the earth which includes you.
