A Merciful King
Matthew 18.23-35

No one was ever more generous than God the Father when he gave his Son for our forgiveness. So when you and I forgive as he did we are putting our trust in the cross of Christ not only to pay our debts, but also to set everything right. And when we don’t forgive it tells God how little we appreciate the gift of his Son, and our forgiveness, and it effectively tells him we don’t believe that he will make all things right.
