Nothing seems to bother us more than the idea that someone got something they didn’t deserve. Especially if they got a position, a job, or title by means of favoritism. It is scandalous! And yet what did any of us do to deserve gift of God and eternal life? The point is that you and I are recipients of great favoritism, and there is nothing you can do to earn it.
