The Congregational Care ministry provides pastoral care for the people in our church. Pastoral care includes visiting those in hospitals, nursing homes, or hospices and those suffering with long-term or terminal illnesses. We also minister to our members who have lost a loved one in death, or to those who are homebound. We will soon serve through food pantries and grocery distribution.
Our mission is to create and sustain a Christian community of volunteer pastoral caregivers in our church. We rely on traditional spiritual disciplines and encourage our pastoral care volunteers to live a lifestyle shaped by Christian spirituality, balanced between corporate worship, spiritual reading and work in the context of community. We see people as an integrated whole: body, mind, and spirit

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
