As we enter the third week of Advent, the theme is that of love. While Christmas is often associated with love, few of us can think of a Christmas text that speaks of love and the kingdom. But then again, what better text is there to explain why we celebrate advent at all than John 3.16, for God so loved the world that he sent his Son… let’s take a look inside with fresh eyes for Advent.
