Luke 9.18-36
Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?”—but the real test wasn’t just their words, it was their lives. In Luke 9, Peter’s confession marks a turning point: Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. Yet immediately, Jesus calls his followers to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow him. Our lives are always telling a story about who Jesus is—either pointing to his authority and kingdom or settling for something lesser. The question is: what story is your life telling?
