Child Dedications
Child Dedication is about parents making a public commitment to rear their children to know the Lord, and to ask the body of Christ to be a part of that process. For the church it is a reminder that these little ones are watching all of us to see if the people at church are anything like Jesus. How do they treat me? How do they treat others? How do we do life together? It is more than tradition, it is a real commitment that rests on our joint commitment and dedication to disciple our children, to live a life worthy of our calling, and to be intentional about serving the most receptive to the gospel.
