This summer, all Voyage Students (6th-12th grades) are invited to take part in the Cause 2022.

This summer, all Voyage Students (6th - 12th grade) are invited to take part in the Cause 2022. The Cause is a life changing experience where our students have the opportunity to grow their relationships with God and with each other by taking an active role in being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Students will have the opportunity to not only learn about the needs in our community, but to also engage and participate in being a part of the solution to these needs. We do this through outreach, service projects, prayer walks, random acts of kindness, etc. and building relationships with individuals and ministries throughout our community. Students will be challenged to look outside of their own worldview to see the world around them through God’s perspective and understand that we, as disciples of Jesus, are called to minister to the lost, hurting and broken.

This year we will be spending four mornings, days, and evenings together at Vinelife Church in a missionary-like experience that will require our students to break out of their comfort zones and do things a little different than they are used to. This might include not having access to some of the amenities that we are so used to in Western culture like cell phones, hot water or even a bed. It will be challenging, but it will also be a lot of fun. There will also be plenty of activities focused on faith building and group development which might involve worship, teaching, games and water balloons.

The cost for the Cause this year is $120.00 and will include food, lodging, transportation and activity fees for four days/three nights (July 18th - July 21st) Early registration and payment will receive a $10 discount.
