There is a lot of teaching that says when bad things happen it must be God’s plan, but the Bible does not teach us such things, instead people take concepts about God’s sovereignty and make assumptions. These misunderstanding can make us feel hopeless like God is not on our side or that we must have done something wrong. Or worse yet, that God isn’t good. In this message Pastor Hal points to the spiritual warfare and forces at work that make us hopeless and point us back to the one from whom we get our hope.
